I was recommened to buy this for my degree for assisting the practical development of practical filming. if you are making home movies or are a complete amateur do not get this. this is for people who use professional digital equipment. the book itself is clearly laid out with some extremely helpful illustrations, it is however slightly brief in certain areas. if you want extreme detail then find something else, but if you want a book you can refer to every now and again then it is good.
