This guide gives you all you need to start construction of your own bot but leaves the design up to you (and how to get the money to build one). Include detailed pictures and technical data which certainly helped me on my bot. Buy it its worth the money!
The definitive guide to Robot Warfare !July 24, 2000 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This is one of the best books on Robot Wars that I have read...it contains just about every conceivable snippet of information on the show; everything from behind the scenes details, the people behind it, the contestants and of course, the robots.
The book looks at how several teams have designed and built their own robots, and shows you exactly what is involved in getting a robot into the contest and the total mayhem that is Robot Wars.
If you want to know how the show is put together, the sheer effort, as well as the triumphs and truamas of all involved, it's all here in this book. A thoroughly enjoyable read for fans of all ages.
For any Robot Wars FANS!July 24, 1999 Any fans will love this book. It's Brilliant for younger readers.

WiCkEd cOoL book I really loved the way they was having in depth interviews with the drivers. House robot schematics were top as well. I took so long to read it and had to read it again and had to once more for all the pictures. Way smart pictures as well of stuff that wasnt even on the telly. As a help to build a robot for the new series it has to be the best way to get a start. Way recommend it, so buy it.
Very good book for robot wars beginnersFebruary 24, 1999 Well I at RW and the book is very informative if you are planning a robot as it has help and advice on which direction to take and has snippets of advice from roboteers saying where they went wrong and what they will do next year. A lot of the roboteers from this year are mentioned and if you were at RW it's worth buying just to see your name in print. The pictures are very good and every now and again certain competitors robots are shown which is good. However the worst part of the book is the house robot descriptions and line drawings which are awful and should immediately be ripped out.
