STR a Must for all Physical TherapistsAugust 11, 2004 24 out of 24 found this review helpful
This book is a Must for anyone studying or practising any form of Physical Therapy. Having been shown the technique of STR, and putting it in to practice by the author herself I can certainly confirm she knows her subject, which is very clearly emphasised in the explanation and clarity of the technique in her book. I can recommend very highly the techniques and have had some Excellent results when working with clients. I have found this book to be one that I often refer to and it has a very important place on my therapy bookshelf. A book well worth the money and investment.
Good book, could be bigger?!January 27, 2004 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
Excellent book, written by an expert in the field. For the price it could be bigger, as it seems quite thin, but then if it covers everything you need, you cant complain really?! Recommended for those working in STR and Sports Massage

Very well presentedAugust 1, 2001 11 out of 13 found this review helpful
I enjoyed the book very much.I have experience on the techs used with workshops in the USA from Taws and Young. Teachers of the techniques. I would recommend the book for anybody who would like to get more information on the great techniques presented. It adds some more information on the system of therapy for pain and rehap of chronic pain.

Mary offers a unique systematic, informative approach to a difficult technique, using terms that are easy to follow and with pictures to match. An essential addition in my view to any physio/physical therapists personal library. Highly recommended.
