This book is remarkably low-priced - the advice given is suitable as an introductory guide for beginners, but could use more detail in places.
The book is divided into several chapters dealing with subjects such as housing, feeding and care, breeding, and information on few popular species. There are a number of colour photographs of varying quality.
Since 1992 many other species of stick insects have become popular. However, the coverage includes species which are still favourites amongst breeders of these insects, hence this is still a useful guide.
