I have researched carefully motoring atlases for Spain and Portugal and have found this Michelin 2008 to be the best available. This map book is approximately A4 size and is only 8mm thick,just right for easy handling and storage in the car. To achieve this,there are no fold over pages or tourist guides or places of interest pages.If you require only a road map,then this is it. It is unfortunate that Amazon do not indicate the scale on this or any other of their road atlases.In this case it turned out to be 1:400 or 1cm=4km. I required a scale of 1:200 or 1cm=2km,however this is not available in road atlas format anywhere. It is a mystery to me why the previous edition,February 2007 is selling on Amazon from 34 up to 120 "new or used" . The only down side is that it is spiral bound which creates tearing at the sprockets after little use.
