No Ferry Routes in Scotland?July 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great map for a haulage company. But we have discovered there are several ferry routes missing in Scotland. All the English routes appear to be there? The AA should do better than this.

Fabulous for drivers of large vehicles. Never without one. This is much more user friendly than the AA Close-Up (ie the size of it). The only thing that would make it better and award the fifth star would be info on weight limits. With regular use the pages do suffer a little from the spiral binding (thus I replace mine every 3 or 4 years) but that's the same with all the maps these days. Buy this map as a back-up to your sat-nav...they don't have bridges on them, this does!!
Not bad.June 30, 2007 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
This atlas is a handy tool for any trucker. It shows low bridges on A & B roads and is therefore a good thing.
However compared to the AA Close up Truckers Map it is a poor second. The close up version is still spiral bound but with a hardcover. It is much more detailed and gives loads more relevant information. Things like low bridges on unclassified roads, width limits, weak bridges, truckstops, petrol stations and speed camera locations. For those familiar with a Philips Navigator this is similar but with all this extra info. At present it is only a few pounds more and well worth the extra.
