I lived London for 6 months 8 years ago, London Time Out guide has been my very best friend there.
I had the very best time of my life there, thanks to it!!
I'm returning to London for 6 months again this year, and I'm sure that Time Out will be divine again.
Have a great life with Time out!!
All of London in one bookApril 5, 2002 4 out of 9 found this review helpful
Just back from our virgin visit to London and we loved it. The Time Out guide helped us find everything we needed (hotel, food, sights, gay scene, etc.), and is opinionated enough to help prioritize. Their city series is the best, and the fact that they are Brits probably helps to make the London guide especially great. Buy it. Go have fun.

Every city I go to in the world I buy a TIMEOUT guide (if one is published). I never thought of the TIMEOUT guide for London as I was English and believed I knew the place reasonably well... I was mistaken. This is superb; I rate TIMEOUT as the best guide by a mile... 5 stars is not high enough!!
A well-written and thorough guide to LondonSeptember 26, 2001 23 out of 24 found this review helpful
I've just bought myself a copy of this guide produced by Time Out, and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to find out more about what's going on in one of the world's most exciting cities. As Time Out update the book annually, you can be sure that it contains recent and relevant information.
The book is very well laid out, and covers a number of different areas, including details about which museums are worth visiting, where to stay (be it at a budget or in 5* luxury!), and a guide to the wide variety of restaurants both in central London and on the outskirts. Of course, there's all the really useful information too such as when things are open and admission prices.
There are some good photos of key London landmarks throughout the book. Towards the end of the book, there are some useful street maps of central London, and also a tube map.
