WOW - what brilliant photography July 3, 2007

As something of an armchair traveller, I was quite excited to see this book. Islands are something of a passion of mine, and I never realised there were so many within easy travelling distance of my own - erm - armchair!

Mr Holland's photography is spectacular; the text is clear and very informative (especially the natural history and "How to get there" information for each island); and the presentation is of an exceptionally high standard (I've read a lot of travel books!).

All in all, a beautifully produced and edited book. Highly recommended.
