This is a lovely collection of My Naughty Little Sister stories featuring all the favourites like 'The Naughtiest Story Of All' and many escapades with Bad Harry. Stunningly illustrated in colour by the fabulous Shirley Hughes it is the perfect book to share with young children at bedtime. Even though the stories were written over 50 years ago they have a timeless quality and the escapades of the children while very innocent compared to say, Horrid Henry, still keep the smalls entranced. My son, who is seven adores these stories especially the one where the naughty liitle sister and Bad Harry eat all of the birthday trifle before the guests arrive. Shirley Hughes's illustrations, as usual, are right on the button reflecting the world perfectly from a child's point of view. As a bonus this edition comes in a slipcase which not only protects the book but elevates it to 'ideal gift status'.
