It's good to return to AvonleaAugust 21, 2005 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It was a great while ago I read this book, but it is always good to return to Avonlea, even thou Anne isn't the main character in the Chronicles.
This is about Avonlea, not Anne, but it is very goodOctober 26, 2002 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a book i read over and over again, even though it is not about Anne Shirley, but rather her Avonlea neighbours.i love these vignettes of country life.as featured in Chronicles of Avonlea. The only one that seems out of place is the last story,Tannis of the Flats, which is set in the Canadian Northwest. However, this is a collection of short stories i really enjoy reading.Just dont expect the tale of Anne and Gilbert to progress very far in it.
Stories about Avonlea that made me laugh and cry.July 23, 2001 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I loved this book because the stories weren't too long or too short. They're about Anne's neighbours and friends. There's love stories and funny ons too. I could read them again and again.
