A new part of the Hogwarts castle, the clock tower was a great feature in the film and the set echo's this. Due to the fact that the previous Hogwarts had no effective entrance, this has a door that has mechanics to make the pengilum swing! The pengilum is a great feature and the overall style of the new Hogwarts seems a little bit more polished. However, this does not contain the legendary Great hall unlike the first one and does not contain a libary but this contains proffesor Trelawneys Classroom and another classroom. The best part though has to be the clock and the door. This is a great add on to the Old Hogwarts but it is only a add on and can not be fully enjoyed without the old Hogwarts. But this can be enjoyed on its own and i strongly reccomend it to any Harrry Potter fan.

This is just a great lego item so much fun to build and looks excellent once finished. Brought for my 5 year old son so i obviously built it, took me quite a while but was not complicated. quite durable but obviously not to be used by rough hands or will fall apart. The added movement of the gate and clock was brilliant (technology hey). A must have for any fan.
