Young James Bond by Charlie HigsonOctober 25, 2008 This is a great series. I think this as as good as Silverfin and Hurricane Gold, I did not care for 'By Royal Command' much, it was boring in places. Duoble or Die was a great real life story, James is up to his old tricks and meets up with an old friend and again has a girl falling for him.

Not the best young Bond, but still a good read, infact probably the worst in the series. Young James Bond meets up with an old friend in London, he gets broken bones, poisened, shot at, blown up and rolls his cars over (He is 12) and he still takes on the world and beats the bad guys. A great story, just not the best in the series.

depressingAugust 20, 2008 It's a perfectly okay book, but why oh why does one of Britain's greatest heroes suddenly have to have gone to Eton? Haven't they got enough heroes?
A good book not as good as Blood Fever or SilverfinJuly 10, 2008 Another great book by Charlie Higson. These are a great read for adults and alike. Not just young adult. The story is fast, no sex or fowl language. Maybe not as good as Silverfin, but still a great story. The books now produced for young adults are some of the best ever written. The Alex Rider series is fantastic. Fledgling the first Jason Steed adventure is one of the best books I have ever read. Plus Cody Bankswas a good book.
