Amazing.January 8, 2009 This book was almost too well written for its own good. i felt a physical loss and pain when i finished, and cried for an hour over a fictional charcter!!
I cried. And cried and cried.January 7, 2009 By the end of this book I was sat there with tears in my eyes, hardly able to talk. If there's anything that's going to convince you to give as much as you can afford to cancer charities, this is it. Well worth a read, just make sure you have tissues at the ready.
The most amazing book I've ever read!January 3, 2009 I will never forget this book! I tell everyone I meet to buy it, it's simply unforgettable. The story-line is heart wrenchingly beautiful and makes you realize just how valuable life its. I've read this book soo many times since I bought it, each time I end up in tears. I wish Jenny Downham would do a sequel about Adam's life after her death.
Tear-jerker that touches your very heartDecember 31, 2008 I saw it on the store bookshelf and it was if it was asking me to pick it up. And I did. One of the best books I have read and the only one that truly made me cry.
Tessa is a 16-year-old dealing with leukemia. She has but months to live and wants to make the very best of it all. She makes a list of extravagent but understandable things she wants to do and, with her selfish best-friend, Zoey, does them. One by one she completes her tasks and does crazy things to collect memories of moments. The last few pages were truly and utterly heart breaking and made me sob but the book isn't just doom and gloom but uplifting in most parts causing you to really value what you have and appreciate life and being alive. Tessa is a brave, energetic character who shows you how precious every moment in your life is.
I strongly recommend to teenagers and older.
Best Book I Have RedDecember 29, 2008 This is the best book i have ever red and i would reccommed it to everyone. I am 15 atm and after reading this it makes you so grateful for what you have. The book is about a 16 yar old girl who has the worst case of luckemia and she takes a turn for the worst and makes a list of things she wants to do when she dies, in the end she falls in love. WARNING if you are very emotional like me the worst part is the last 6 chapters.
