Don't go without it!October 12, 2008 An excellent guide to Cape Verde, i would recommend you don't go without reading this book first. Although i only visited Santiago and Maio i found this guide very helpful for the trip.
Over the topMay 3, 2008 This book is excellent education material, but if you are just off for you holidays its a little too much, for the AVERAGE traveller, most of the relevant information can be retrieved off sites on the net. Shame there is no real travel guide yet only this as such.

I'm just back from Cabo Verde, where I travelled in the company of this guide-book, which was an excellent support. There's no guide on the market as good as this, and having heard of Bradt Publications the first time, I will definitely specifically look for their books in the future.

Excellent guide, containing pretty much all the info you could need. I visited the islands before reading the book and I have to say it's honest and accurate. If you're visiting these wonderful islands don't forget to pack this!
